An interesting/accelerating pattern in SaaS: The Clydesdale Rule.
Growth goes beyond new logos. It's about finding your "workhorse" product - the one that solves a critical daily problem and holds key customer data. Everything else builds from there.
Shopify started with stores, then naturally expanded into payments, shipping, and capital. Their core platform became the source of truth for merchant data, making each expansion feel inevitable rather than forced. Procore, Toast, ServiceTitan, MindBody are all examples of companies that do this well.
The ecosystem effect is subtle but powerful - customers using multiple products stick around longer and refer more. Plus, selling to existing customers who already trust you is easier than chasing new logos.
